RICHMOND PARK

Public BBQ

Richmond Park in Gordon presents itself as a well-appointed recreational haven where families converge around quality BBQ facilities beneath generous undercover picnic tables. The park's thoughtful design integrates barbecue areas with children's play equipment, creating natural gathering spots where parents can tend to sizzling snags while maintaining sight lines to their offspring. Tennis courts provide additional recreational options for those seeking more active pursuits between courses. The park's walking paths meander through pleasant greenery, offering visitors a chance to work up an appetite or digest their feast. While the setting may not win awards for dramatic scenery, it delivers practical amenities in a clean, accessible environment that satisfies the essential Australian requirement: good barbecue facilities with adequate shelter from the elements.
